Gunmen ambushed an IRGC patrol near the city of Lar

On 10 December 2025, unidentified gunmen ambushed a patrol of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Sistan-and-Baluchestan province, a volatile region near the Pakistan border. The attack killed three IRGC personnel while they were on routine patrol. Iranian authorities labeled the assailants as terrorists; no group immediately claimed responsibility. The area has a history of militant violence involving cross-border smuggling routes and insurgent activity.

Two Police Officers Killed in ELN Bomb Attack in Northeast Colombia

On December 7, 2025, an explosive attack occurred in northeast Colombia, targeting police forces. The blast killed two police officers. Authorities blamed the National Liberation Army (ELN) guerrilla group for the attack, linking it to ongoing insurgent violence in the region near the Venezuelan border.

Peshawar Frontier Constabulary HQ attack

On 24 November 2025, a coordinated suicide-bombing and armed assault targeted the FC headquarters in Peshawar. One suicide bomber detonated explosives at the main gate, while two more militants attempted to breach the compound and open fire. Security forces engaged and killed the attackers.

Gush Etzion Junction attack

On 18 November 2025, attackers carried out a combined vehicle‑ramming and stabbing assault at the junction in the West Bank. They drove their car toward civilian pedestrians, then exited the vehicle and attempted to stab bystanders.

Islamabad suicide bombing

The bomber attempted to enter the district judicial complex in the G-11 sector of Islamabad but, unable to gain access, detonated explosives next to a parked police vehicle outside the gates, causing significant casualties and damage.

Red Fort Terror Attack

On 10 November 2025, a car explosion occurred near Gate 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station in Old Delhi. The vehicle, reportedly a Hyundai i20, exploded in a crowded area, causing multiple deaths and injuries. The incident is being treated as a terrorist attack by Indian authorities.

Abyan Governorate, Yemen attack

Al‑Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) launched a coordinated suicide assault on a military/government compound in Abyan. The attack involved two car bombs plus fighters wearing explosive belts who tried to storm the compound.

Mogadishu, Somalia attack

Al‑Shabaab militants launched a coordinated attack on the Godka Jilaow prison (a high-security underground detention facility operated by Somalia’s NISA) in Mogadishu. The attack began with a car bomb (disguised as a NISA vehicle), followed by gunmen dressed in security uniforms who stormed the prison, triggering a siege.

Manchester synagogue attack

The attacker drove a car into pedestrians outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester, during Yom Kippur. He then got out and stabbed people.

Khuzdar school bus bombing

A suicide vehicle bomb rammed into a school bus carrying students of an Army public school, killing 11 (including children) and injuring 53+.

Damaanyo military base attack

A suicide bomber (reportedly disguised as a recruit) detonated explosives among a large crowd of young men lining up to register at the base gate. The blast caused chaos, many of the dying or wounded were recruits and bystanders.

A missile launched by the Houthi Movement (Yemen) struck near Ben Gurion Airport, injuring eight and disrupting airport operations.

Pahalgam attack
